Description

The project located west of Palmyra city, on 350 hectares. The goal was to design and present urban and architectural studies of a touristic and residential suburb consisting of about 500 villas and chalets in high standard and in different models distributed among 5 residential groups, each with its own services. The project included various touristic spaces and services including a five-star hotel with SPA and four-star hotel with chalets, a three-star hotel, youth houses, shops, restaurants, businessmen centers, sulfur water treatment centers, sports center, water sports center and other touristic services.

The complex was developed around an artificial lake with several water flows dividing the complex. A-The 500 villas were divided into five areas each equipped with the required services. Each villa included a land of 800 to 1000 m2. Moreover, the villas were designed in various sizes and designs. B-The complex included different levels of hotels, like as five-star hotel equipped with all required services and SPA. The hotel was designed around a main courtyard, in addition to a four-star hotel with all required services, accompanied by a group of chalets as threestar hotels and youth hostels.

Advantages

C-The project center included commercial services, restaurants, cafés, meeting halls and business center with its technical services. Moreover, the complex included several sports facilities such as sports center, water sports center and a sulfur water treatment center on a sulfur spring in this site. All the complex buildings designs were based on developed Arabic style.
